About the RoleWellington Solutions designs and manages customized portfolios across multi-asset, equity and quantitative investments. The team combines allocator, research and implementation expertise to provide clients with integrated investment solutions. The team manages $36B across proprietary factor, hedged, and extended strategies. The team manages portfolios, conducts market and manager research, and partners with clients on investment solutions that pursue customized risk and alpha objectives. The team also provides bespoke research and advice across various topics such as fundamental factors, manager research, asset allocation, quantitative investing, and risk management.
We are seeking a Solutions Investment Analyst to join our Solutions Product Management team, with a strong focus on multi-asset and quantitative strategies. This role is ideal for candidates with deep analytical capabilities, experience in asset allocation and quantitative investing, and a passion for developing innovative investment solutions. The product coverage team has two main objectives:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Solutions Investment Analyst will work as part of a product coverage team led by an Investment Director. This team collaborates closely with the investment team, sales teams, and business partners across the firm to support client needs and drive product innovation. The primary focus of the role is to provide analytical leverage to the team as well as be a point of contact for a variety of internal constituents regarding inquiries about the investment teams and products under coverage.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Conducting deep-dive analysis on portfolio positioning, performance attribution, and risk exposures across multi-asset and quant strategies.
Supporting the design and implementation of customized investment solutions, with a preference for experience in multi-asset solutioning over single-asset specialization.
Utilizing asset allocation modeling tools to support strategic and tactical investment decisions.
Applying AI and data science tools to enhance analytical workflows and generate investment insights.
Creating and maintaining high-quality marketing and client materials that clearly articulate investment strategy and differentiation.
Responding to internal and external inquiries, including RFPs and client questions, with a high degree of analytical rigor.
Automating workflows and contributing to the development of scalable, data-driven investment approaches.
Collaborating on product development, pricing, capacity management, and business planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Investment Analyst role is multi-faceted and requires demonstrated interest in investment topics, a passion for learning, as well as strong analytical skills. A positive, collegial attitude and high level of professionalism are essential, as are creativity, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines.
Key qualifications for this role include:
3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in multi-asset, quantitative or solutions-oriented investment roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Demonstrated experience with asset allocation frameworks and modeling tools.
Familiarity with AI tools and their application in investment research is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with FactSet, Morningstar, Python, or other analytical platforms is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus but not required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a desire to grow as a presenter and thought partner.
Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Solid judgment, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to take a differentiated perspective
Attention to detail combined with a solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to organize, manage and prioritize time well

The base salary range for this position is:
USD 65,000 - 150,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
