About The Job

We are seeking a results-driven Senior BI Analyst with strong experience in the logistics industry to join our dynamic data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, gathering business requirements, planning and executing data-driven solutions, and developing actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

• Key Responsibilities

  Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Gathering

  • Act as the primary liaison between business units and the BI team

  • Understand, document, and translate business needs into clear analytical and reporting requirements

  • Facilitate planning sessions and manage expectations on deliverables

• Data Analysis & Transformation

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights

  • Integrate, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and accuracy

  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines using tools like dbt and Databricks

• Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Design and develop high-impact dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI

  • Ensure reports and visualizations align with business KPIs and support operational efficiency

  • Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and senior leadership

• AI and Advanced Analytics

  • Explore and prototype the use of AI and machine learning techniques to enhance forecasting, automation, and decision-making

  • Collaborate with data scientists or use lightweight AI tools to identify opportunities for optimization within logistics processes

• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to improve data accessibility and quality

  • Contribute to BI governance, data documentation, and best practices

  • Participate in Agile development processes using Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a BI Analyst or similar role, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or transportation

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI (data modelling, DAX, visuals, performance optimization)

  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming data

  • Experience with dbt, Databricks, and Azure DevOps

  • Solid understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles

  • Experience working with stakeholders at various levels, gathering requirements, and translating them into technical solutions

  • Awareness or hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts and tools to drive predictive insights or automation

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

  • Python knowledge is a strong plus (for data manipulation, automation, or advanced analytics)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Experience in logistics operations, freight forwarding, warehousing, or transport analytics

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (especially Microsoft Azure and Databricks)
