Job Summary

The Manager Automation & AI Solutions plays a pivotal role in defining, planning, and implementing automation and AI solutions across our
organization. Leads a team of experts, working closely with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, design efficient processes, and
execute automation projects. Utilizes strategic vision and technical expertise to drive digital transformation efforts, ensuring Enterprise
remains competitive and efficient in today's rapidly evolving business landscape.

Requirements

**This is a flex role and the individual selected will be expected to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday each week, and other days as needed.**

EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in computer science, management information systems, business or related field required. Masters degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum seven (7) years' proven experience in business process automation, with a track record of successfully delivering automation
• projects
• Minimum five (5) years' experience with a Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan, Commercial Carrier Managed Care or other health insurance related
• company is preferred
• Minimum two (2) years' leadership experience (role, team and/or project management)
• Strong understanding of automation technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and
• machine learning (ML)
• Familiarity and experience with UiPath, ChatGPT and other large language models
• Leadership experience and the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Responsibilities

• Automation and AI Solutions Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with our business goals and objectives. • Engages with Business Owners, Shared Services, and other stakeholders • Guides staff in accomplishing the projects set forth in the Enterprise plans in accordance with the established priorities, goals and directions of the customer/client base. • Interacts with Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association as well as other Blue Plans. • Interacts with other IS&T areas to ensure alignment with overall corporate IS&T objectives and goals • Manages the hiring, coaching/training, employee development and performance management of assigned team and performs data-driven performance evaluations • Performance Metrics: Define and track KPIs to measure the success and impact of automation and AI initiatives. • Process Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and pinpoint automation and AI Solutions opportunities. • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of automation and AI solutions projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with automation and AI solutions projects and develop mitigation strategies. • SAFe: Builds milestones, roadmap, plans to enable. Establishes and builds relationships with customers, suppliers, consultants, partners, and internal and external stakeholders. Provides resources for teams and ARTs to successfully execute their roadmap. Creates alignment and execution of strategic themes. • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather requirements, communicate project status, and address concerns. • Team Leadership: Manage a team of automation and AI specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging automation and AI solutions technologies and tools, and assess their suitability for our organization.

This position is identified as level three (3).
