Data Engineer/Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer/Architect to join our team and play a key role in optimizing data and business processes within the wind energy sector. This role involves designing and enhancing scalable data warehouse solutions and managing high-volume datasets to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proven expertise in Python for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services, especially BigQuery.
• Solid background in handling large-scale datasets and optimizing data workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data architectures and pipelines using Python.
• Build and optimize scalable data warehouse solutions on GCP.
• Work extensively with BigQuery for data modeling, transformation, and querying of large datasets.
• Ensure efficient data flow and reliability across various systems and business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Monitor data quality, implement best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of data infrastructure.
