Role Purpose
The Integrated Planning Data Analyst supports the creation and execution of planning standards by creating data-driven tools that enable decision-making across the supply chain. This role provides analytics, reporting, and process automation to improve the performance, visibility, and efficiency of integrated planning. Operating within the Planning Center of Excellence (COE), the analyst provides insights, develops, and maintains tools, dashboards, and advanced Excel and Power BI solutions to support planning standards implementation and execution.
The analyst plays a critical role in standardizing reporting, enhancing planning metrics, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the planning function.
Key Responsibilities
Planning Analytics & Reporting
- Design and deliver automated reports and dashboards (e.g. Power BI and Excel) to support key supply planning processes (e.g., capacity planning, inventory visibility, adherence metrics, planning parameters, Master Data).
- Maintain and improve reporting suites to monitor KPIs such as MPS adherence, inventory turns, service level, and capacity utilization.
- Partner with planners and planning leaders to translate reporting needs into sustainable analytics solutions.
Data Processing & Tool Enablement
- Support the Planning COE in deploying new planning capabilities and tools by preparing data models and conducting user testing.
- Own recurring data refresh processes and troubleshooting for supply planning inputs and outputs from ERP/APS systems.
- Develop and maintain Excel-based advanced tools and macros that support data cleaning, parameter management, and planning simulations.
Process & Metrics Standardization
- Collaborate with the COE and division’s planning teams to standardize key metrics, data sources, and reporting definitions.
- Support the creation and maintenance of planning process documentation related to analytics and reporting.
- Contribute to the adoption and compliance of planning KPIs across regions, sites, and product lines.
Continuous Improvement & Support
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing visibility, automation, and insight generation in the planning process.
- Provide analytical support for planning pilots, new process rollouts, or system transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- +1 years of experience in data analysis, supply chain planning, or a similar operations support role.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, Power Query, and VBA/macros).
- Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization
- Prior experience with ERP (e.g., SAP) and planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis) is a plus.
- Familiarity with supply chain planning processes and key performance indicators
- Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and process discipline.
- Ability to communicate effectively with planners and technical teams to understand and solve problems.
