Financial & Data Analytics Intern

👩‍💻👨‍💻 About the role

You will be an integral part of the finance department, primarily supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Your role will involve close collaboration with commercial and business leaders, providing crucial data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reporting: Preparing regular and ad hoc reports using internal data base to support business decisions. 
• Data Analysis and Automation: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Support the improvement of processes and operations in Finance through data-driven approaches
• Business Partnering: Working closely with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide relevant data and insights to support their decision-making.
• Special Projects: Participating in and supporting various finance-related projects and initiatives.

Overall, your work will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the company, contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives and financial goals.

• Assist in daily routines process and decision-making by collecting, processing and analyzing data.
• Support automation and optimization in the financial department.
• Prepare reports and presentations to support management decisions
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform data entry tasks

• You are currently enrolled as a student in business administration, finance, economics, mathematics or a related field
• You have very good skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Experience with SQL or data analytics & visualization tools, e.g. Metabase
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex topics in a simple way
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn and contribute to real-world projects
