JOB OVERVIEW

Identify, collect and analyze data and information that may impact the Company’s regulatory, operational, and financial environments. Design analytical models, visuals, dashboards, and reports with internal business partners to support, measure and monitor risk exposures and trends.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Data collection and analysis, including gathering data from various sources, cleaning and preparing it for analysis, and performing statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Design, implement and maintain data driven dashboards to support risk analysis, create and measure performance metrics, conduct risk modeling and forecasting and monitor data trending.
• Serve as an integral team member of the Company’s risk programs and provide data and analytical support to complimentary departments, including Legal and Compliance.
• Collaborate with partners across the Company to harvest and analyze data in support of the enterprise risk program.
• Perform work with a high degree of latitude. Handle complex issues with confidence and logical solution-based approach.
• Timely complete day-to-day assigned tasks, including recurring reports, dashboard monitoring and risk data maintenance.
• Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders, using tools like dashboards and presentations.
• Work with cross-functional areas and business units to complete complex projects and further priority business initiatives. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of five (5) years experience in data analysis, modeling, visualization
• Proven experience implementing data supported results (work or internship experience acceptable)
• Demonstrated understanding of risk principles
• Experience related to business, financial and information technology is a plus

TECHNICAL SKILLS

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:

• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions
• Highly effective oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in in data analysis tools like SQL, Microsoft Office, Power Bi (or similar data analytical applications)
• Experience with Governance, Risk & Compliance software tools a plus.
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate analysis results to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Ability to create a business story with data, based on business requirements collected from multiple parties.

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
