We work on challenging data analytics and artificial intelligence projects - both in-house and for clients in various industries. We work with leaders of the financial market: banks and insurance companies. Our solutions are also used by companies in the energy and nuclear, industrial and oil & gas sectors.

What you’ll be doing

If you are looking for a space where you can really use your expertise, work with large data sets, implement advanced ML/AI models and have a real impact on the direction of projects - this is where we come in.


We focus on technology, creativity and agility rather than a rigid corporate structure. We work on interesting implementations, using modern tools, and each team member has an impact on the selection of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement AI-based models (banking, fintech, energy, industry)

  • Collection of requirements and their documentation on the client side

  • Managing large volumes of data (processing and data flows)

  • Data analysis to identify key predictive variables

  • Validation of models in accordance with regulations (e.g. EBA, FSA)

  • Collaborate with IT, business analytics and risk teams to integrate models into decision-making systems

  • Monitor model performance and periodically calibrate models

  • Technical documentation and reporting of results to stakeholders

  • Collaborate with global AI teams

What you bring to the team

We are looking for a team player, who is motivated to deliver great work aligning with the Hitachi vision. The ideal candidate is based near Krakow, Upper Silesia for easy commute to Client however we are open for applications with right skills outside these locations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science

  • University degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL languages

  • Knowledge of MLOps and Agile methodologies

  • Ability to interpret model results and apply them in a business context

  • Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders

  • Knowledge of English to a degree that enables free communication

Nice to have:

  • Experience in credit scoring projects

  • Ability to develop API systems

  • Knowledge of BI tools

  • Experience with Big Data tools (e.g. Spark, Hadoop)

  • Knowledge of AI risk assessment and model auditing methods

  • Knowledge of regulatory issues
