The Opportunity:
Pryon is seeking exceptional Strategic Partner Managers to drive growth through our most critical partnerships and strategic alliances. The ideal candidate brings a rare blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and technical expertise to deliver revenue and results from key verticals, which will be owned entirely by you. This person could capably command a product or pure strategy role but prefers to spend their time in the market directly driving revenue.   The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient - capable of identifying opportunities, conducting technical demonstrations, managing complex sales cycles, and closing deals independently while leveraging partner channels for maximum impact.Â

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For:
- Partnership Development & StrategyÂ
- Command product and business strategy role while directly driving revenue.Â
- Own the complete relationship for assigned strategic partners Â
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies within partner ecosystemsÂ
- Identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities through partner channelsÂ
- Build and maintain C-level relationships within partner organizationsÂ
- Technical Sales & SolutionsÂ
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and deliver compelling product demonstrationsÂ
- Design and implement proof-of-concept engagements tailored to partner needsÂ
- Manage complex technical sales cycles from initial contact through contract closureÂ
- Serve as the primary technical resource for partner sales teamsÂ
- Revenue GenerationÂ
- Meet/exceed assigned quota targets Â
- Generate qualified pipeline and close business directly through partner channelsÂ
- Develop joint business plans and revenue forecasts with key partnersÂ
- Drive partner-led deals while maintaining direct customer relationshipsÂ
- Partner Enablement & SupportÂ
- Create and deliver partner training programs on Pryon technology and value propositionÂ
- Develop joint marketing materials, case studies, and go-to-market collateralÂ
- Support partner sales teams with technical expertise during customer engagementsÂ
- Establish best practices for partner collaboration and deal managementÂ
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- Experience & BackgroundÂ
- 7+ years in technical sales, business development, or partner management rolesÂ
- Proven track record of closing $M+ deals in enterprise technology marketsÂ
- Experience working with major consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Deloitte) or cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferredÂ
- Background in AI/ML, enterprise software, or knowledge management technologiesÂ
- Technical CapabilitiesÂ
- Deep understanding of enterprise software architectures and integration patternsÂ
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholdersÂ
- Experience with APIs, cloud platforms, and modern software development practicesÂ
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, particularly RAG and knowledge management systemsÂ
- Business & Sales SkillsÂ
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic partnership plansÂ
- Strong negotiation and deal structuring capabilitiesÂ
- Experience managing long, complex B2B sales cyclesÂ
- Track record of building relationships with senior executives and technical decision makersÂ
- Personal AttributesÂ
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high degree of self-sufficiencyÂ
- Exceptional communication and presentation skillsÂ
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced startup environmentÂ
- Strategic thinker capable of seeing the big picture while executing tacticallyÂ
