The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and visualizing massive datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to create compelling visual representations of complex data, including geospatial plotting and pattern recognition. This position offers the chance to work on high-impact projects that drive decision-making across our organization.


Responsibilities:
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify key trends and patterns.

• Design and develop interactive data visualizations using tools like D3.js, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Create geospatial visualizations to plot locations and identify geographical trends.

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to interpret complex data sets.

• Develop custom visualization tools and libraries as needed.

• Present findings to stakeholders through clear, visually appealing reports and dashboards.

• Optimize data retrieval and processing for efficient visualization of large datasets.

• Stay current with the latest data visualization techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

Required: 
• 14 years of software development experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR 18 years of software development experience (in lieu of degree)

• TS/SCI with required polygraph

• Proficiency in data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., D3.js, Tableau, Power BI)

• Strong programming skills, particularly in languages used for data analysis (e.g., Python, R)

• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences




Desired:
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

• Experience with machine learning and AI technologies for pattern recognition

• Familiarity with cloud-based data processing and visualization platforms

• Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and geospatial data analysis

• Experience in a specific domain relevant to our industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, marketing)

• Contributions to open-source data visualization projects

• Published research or articles in the field of data visualization or analysis

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$120,800 - $265,800
