Support business priories by utilizing Data Lake Core competencies – analytic capabilities, measurement, decision analysis and list services. Support decision and strategy problems in key business areas. Expected to operate in a rapidly changing environment, demonstrate strong collaboration and project management skills to support project execution and delivery. Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements for development, expertise in data analysis, testing and managing communication and timelines for the project.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Analytical Support: Provide end to end analytical support to an enterprise business line(s) utilizing Data Lake competencies – analytic capabilities, measurement, decision analysis and list services. Adopt to operate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment and handle multiple competing project priorities. Data Lake systems knowledge to support decision and strategy problems in key business areas, demonstrating strong technical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Business Requirements Management: Under direction of Sr. Leader, collaborate with external and/or internal business partners to finalize the business scope, create business requirements, translate business requirements into technical requirements, execute or facilitate execution against those requirements, perform all required quality control processes to ensure highest quality. 

  • Business Partner Engagement: Under direction of Sr. Leader, build new or maintain existing business partner engagement with external and/or internal business partners by facilitating reoccurring one-on-one or staff meetings, providing prompt communication, setting clear expectations, supporting a quick turnaround of follow up questions while advocating Data Lake processes and procedures. 

  • Data Expert: Function as a data expert and steward for an assigned enterprise business line(s) to design and construct effective solutions to business problems as well as identify and evaluate new data sources to incorporate into the Data Lake to continuously expand capabilities. 

  • Audit: Ensure adherence to data and model governance standards that are set and enforced by industry standards and/or enterprise. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills. 

  • Strong project management skills demonstrated through driving results and managing people at various levels without direct reporting. 

  • AWS tools knowledge and high-level infrastructure knowledge. Athena SQL Queries, SageMaker, Python coding. 

  • Ability to collaborate and build new business partner relationships. 

  • Knowledge of measurement methodologies, experimental design, data/sampling problems, cost-benefit, key business metrics. 

  • Competence in using analytic and reporting tools. 

  • Proven flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4 years) 

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master's degree 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of company policies and regulations regarding the creation and distribution of identifiable information.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $80,100 - $108,100 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
