To keep a high level of accuracy, the Advertiser Quality team builds systems that extract, parse, and store information about the rates offered by different advertisers. How you’ll make an impact:

• Set up and maintain a test suite to ensure proper price accuracy on trivago's platform
• Utilize scripting and querying techniques to simplify data analysis and improve processes
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to follow up on findings during testing
• Conduct daily checks of core metrics to maintain a high standard of data reliability
• Support developers by taking on simple programming tasks that contribute to ongoing projects

What you'll learn: 

• How a data-driven company operates internally and how critical decisions are made
• How to use advanced data extraction and analysis systems
• How to collaborate with experienced developers, DevOps engineers, and data scientists in a dynamic international environment

What you'll need to thrive:

• Be a student currently pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field
• Basic knowledge of one programming language (prior experience isn’t required)
• Familiarity with SQL and a basic understanding of databases
• Solid analytical skills to make data-driven decisions 
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• The ability to work at least 15 hours per week in a flexible schedule

Stand out with:

• Familiarity with web technologies and basic knowledge of Python
