How you’ll power our business as a BI Developer 

We’re on the lookout for a data-curious, insight-driven BI Developer to join our brilliant Business Intelligence team. Reporting into the BI Manager, this is a key role where you’ll turn complex data into clear insight that drives real business decisions. You’ll work with multiple data sources and large datasets, using tools like Qlik Cloud to create smart, analytical solutions that help us grow. With a ‘test, learn, evolve’ mindset, you’ll dig into the data, uncover opportunities, and share your recommendations to make a real impact. As one of the senior members of the team, you’ll also guide others and be a go-to support in the BI Manager’s absence. Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. What we’ll need from you

• You must be an experienced data and analytics professional with a proven record in collecting, analysing, interpreting and presenting data, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role 

• Strong interest in learning new database technologies and working with Cloud based tools 

• Experience in analytical software and technical solutions such as Qlik Cloud. 

• Understanding in data warehousing and data manipulation skills 

• Knowledge of BI and Reporting tools, with QlikView/Sense/Cloud knowledge a particular advantage 

• Have a strong ability to manage his or her own time effectively and be a self-starter 

• Able to prioritise work effectively to meet different business requirements 

• Work under tight deadlines 

• Must have attention to detail 

• Have a flexible working approach and be able to communicate with colleagues across all levels 

• Works well in a team and provides support to others 

• Flexible approach to work and willing to work overtime during busy periods to meet customer demand
