Analytica is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support a high-impact federal data transformation initiative. This is a remote position supporting US government clients. The role is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines. This role focuses on ingesting and transforming data from legacy systems into a cloud-based analytical environment such as databricks and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Databricks, Informatica, and other cloud-native solutions.
  • Develop data pipelines to feed API-accessible databases and support operational/transactional systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
  • Leverage a variety of data integration and transformation tools, including Databricks, Informatica ETL, and AWS-native data services such as Redshift, RDS, and DocumentDB.
  • Work collaboratively with product teams, project leads, and data customers to gather data needs and pipeline requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data pipeline development, ETL engineering, or backend data integration roles.
  • Demonstrated hands-on development experience in data transformation and loading into Databricks, PostgreSQL, and/or AWS DynamoDB.
  • Experience with government data systems or working in federal environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security practices relevant to IRS or other federal data systems.
  • Must have active IRS MBI Clearance.
