Solution Architect - Data Analysis

Overview

The Solution Architect – Data Analytics is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing scalable data architecture solutions that support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data governance. This role bridges technical and business teams, ensuring that data solutions align with enterprise strategies and provide actionable insights for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect the end-to-end migration of legacy Sales BI reports, dashboards, and data models to a CAP-based solution.
• Define and document data architecture, integrations, and reporting frameworks aligned with cloud-native principles.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business units to define analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with sales stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable data and analytics solutions. Maintain these in Confluence and Jira
• Collaborate with the stakeholders to ensure where possible there is rationalisation of process and creation of one source of truth for data. 
• Ensure proper mapping, transformation, and validation of legacy datasets in the new architecture.
• Provide technical leadership to developers and engineers working on ETL/ELT, data modeling, and reporting.
• Integrate the new CAP solution with existing enterprise systems such as Power BI.
• Ensure performance optimization, governance, data quality, and security compliance.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

Experience

• Strong experience with Sales BI platforms (e.g. SAP BW, SAP BO, Oracle BI, or similar) 
• Deep understanding of SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) framework.
• Expertise in data migration, data modeling, and ETL/ELT design.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., SAP BTP, Azure, AWS).
• Proficiency in SQL and modern BI tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI).
• Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
• Ability to engage with third party / multiple providers and form a consolidated view of the architecture deliverables.
