Senior Data Engineer

Requirements

• 6 to 12 years of experience in designing and developing highly resilient data platforms
• A solid understanding of data engineering, architecture, and data modeling
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Kafka
• Experience in developing applications in cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
• Proficient programming skills in Python, with a willingness to learn additional languages such as Java or Scala
• Open to reviewing and improving code written by others
• Able to function in a collaborative environment where developers engage in broader scope projects
• Previous experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, handling pull requests, using JIRA, and adhering to Scrum Agile methodologies is beneficial
• Experience in creating data-intensive or computationally demanding (e.g., grid-based) backend applications is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant IT or Engineering discipline
• Previous knowledge of financial products is advantageous
