Lead the development of data-driven strategies that enhance customer engagement, optimize digital performance, and drive sales growth across all ordering channels. This role will partner closely with the operations, marketing, digital, and other cross-functional teams to extract insights from our robust data platforms, translating insights into strategies that increase engagement, drive transactions, and elevate the overall customer experience. By connecting data to action, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we personalize interactions, measure success, and continually improve the guest journey driving top line sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Insights Strategy (30%)
- Develop a 3-year KFC US analytics insight and reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with overall brand priorities.
- Co-Lead the creation and standardization of core business and performance metrics (e.g., customer lifetime value, conversion, retention) that align to the overall AIDA strategy.
- Lead critical analytics projects driving insights and correlations to drive growth.
- Represent analytical needs within Yum data COE and ensure strategy aligns to brand priorities.
Analytics and Reporting (40%)
- Build a scalable, self-service analytics framework to accelerate insight generation.
- Lead the development of dashboards and reporting tools using internal and external data sources.
- Use statistical techniques across disparate data sources to analyze, report and communicate insights.
- Analyze digital touchpoints (mobile app, web, third-party platforms) to optimize engagement and conversion.
- Build best-in-class analytical processes within KFC working with global markets for consolidation and optimization.
- Serve as primary insight and analytics resource for KFC US.
Team (30%)
- Mentor a high-performing team of analysts and foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and business partnership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, business analytics, data science, or another quantitative field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in omni-channel analytics, preferably in a consumer-facing or QSR environment. QSR experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with full-cycle data mining (prep, modeling, visualization, interpretation).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics platform (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Power BI experience is a plus.
- Experience with advanced insight and analytics tools. Databricks experience is a plus.
- Experience with advanced data warehousing platforms. Snowflake experience is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS. Azure experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and present them to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Experience with the MARTEC stack. Braze, mParticle, Amplitude experience is a plus.
- Experience with managing a diverse geographical team. Offshore team management experience is a plus.
Salary Range: $134,500 to $158,300 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
