Description
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
EMERGE Lab
The EMERGE lab at NYU is seeking to hire a postdoc to work on scaling and deploying end-to-end RL planning agents for autonomous vehicles. Based on prior work on creating high performing self-play RL agents, we are interested in understanding the bottlenecks in augmenting the self-driving stack with RL-based planners. Outputs of this project are intended to be significant empirical advances in the design and deployment of end-to-end planners as well as open-source driving policies that can run on a fleet.
