Citibank, N.A. seeks a Model/Analysis/Validation Officer for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Validate and provide independent review and effective challenge of quantitative consumer valuation models used in Citi’s consumer businesses as well as fraud models used globally. Conduct required validation tests and diagnostic analyses to evaluate the soundness and performance of developed models. Document the assessment and results of qualitative review and quantitative validation results from statistical and mathematical analyses in the format of a Model Validation Report as required by Citi’s model risk management. Provide review and effective challenge of ongoing monitoring activities for existing developed credit and fraud risk models including ongoing performance monitoring, annual model review, model change, and periodic revalidation. Conduct ad hoc research and study of modeling techniques and statistical methods to support enhancements to control procedures and guidance. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requires: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation conducting data analysis or modeling activities. Four (4) years of experience must include: Applying technical and practical knowledge of modeling techniques including regression analysis, time series analysis, and machine learning models in the modeling process; Utilizing statistical software tools and programming languages including SAS/4GL, Python, SQL, R, Hive, PySpark, Oracle, and Tableau to conduct data analysis; Gathering requirements, preprocessing, and analyzing data as well as performing data quality checks to identify trends and anomalies; Performing statistical testing including Partial Dependence Plots (PDP), Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KS) tests, Population Stability Index (PSI), lift and gain charts, and AUC-ROC analysis used to assess model soundness and performance; and Providing effective challenge to the model development process which includes identifying model limitations, data and model soundness issues, and performance weaknesses In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in an above-stated field of study, and two (2) years of experience.
