Senior ML Engineer in Computer Vision

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a background in Computer Vision at Faktion, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge AI solutions for enterprises. This position goes beyond the mere implementation of existing models; it’s about innovating and expanding the horizons of machine vision to address complex customer challenges. Leveraging your profound knowledge in both machine learning and computer vision, you will be instrumental in developing systems that not only comprehend but also interpret and create images and videos with significant impact. Your role centers on enhancing and advancing our existing computer vision frameworks. Some key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement computer vision algorithms and models to solve complex problems
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions

• Research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision

• Prototype and evaluate new algorithms and techniques

• Exploring and visualizing data and identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance in live deployment

• Defining validation strategies

• Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset

• Defining data augmentation pipelines

• Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on CV

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala

• Extensive experience with CV libraries (e.g., YOLO, OpenCV, Keras, etc.)

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Dlib, etc.)

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure is a plus)

Following experiences are a plus:

• Proven track record of developing and deploying scalable machine learning models

• Publications in relevant AI/ML conferences and journals

• Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams
