As a Data Scientist, you’ll be supporting the delivery of communicating the results of the implemented models, covering research, design, development, testing, deployment, measurement, monitoring, and promotion of predictive and prescriptive solutions. This will help us excel at improving/optimizing any part of our value chain and in turn increase revenue or reduce operational costs using various multidisciplinary skills to stay ahead of the game.
 

What you’ll be doing
 

AI & Machine Learning Model Development:

• Design, train, and deploy ML/AI models to power features such as player personalisation, recommendation engines, fraud detection, and dynamic odds modelling.

Data Engineering Collaboration:

• Partner with data engineers to ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure for AI workloads.

Productionisation & Scaling:

• Build scalable and efficient systems for deploying models into production environments with high availability and low latency.

Experimentation & Optimisation:

• Drive experimentation (A/B testing, uplift modelling) and continuous model improvement based on live performance data.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with Product, Compliance, Marketing, and Risk teams to shape AI use cases that align with business goals and regulatory frameworks.

Documentation & Governance:

• Maintain proper documentation, ensure model explainability, and support compliance and responsible AI practices.

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table
 

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

• Strong Python skills with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
• Solid understanding of statistics, deep learning, NLP, or reinforcement learning
• Experience building end-to-end ML pipelines, from data prep to deployment
• Ability to translate business challenges into machine learning solutions
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML)
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional product/engineering teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

• In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
• Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
• Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
• Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
