Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC seeks an Associate, Strats in New York, New York

Build, support and improve data analytics trading applications to generate profit and loss (P&L) for client financing business. Improve live risk and P&L attribution risk systems. Research, design and build trading applications to manage client financing balance sheet and optimize collateral allocation. Collaborate with strats, IT, Finance, Sales and Trading, market risk, model risk and COO groups to improve business efficiency. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $225,000 and $225,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Master’s in Information Engineering, Financial Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the position offered or one (1) year as a Quantitative Analyst, Analyst, or a related role. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Python; C++; SQL Database; Microsoft Excel and VBA; interest rates products and rate forward curve modelling; financial derivatives pricing and modeling; Stochastic Calculus; statistics and probability theory; machine learning; and risk management and profit and loss attribution.
