- Strong expertise in SQL for data analysis, validation, and profiling.
- Experience with data quality frameworks and tools, including defining data quality KPIs.
- Familiarity with data governance principles, policies, and tools (preferably Collibra).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation is an advantage.
- Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data catalogs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms, preferably GCP, is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a multinational, cross-cultural environment, collaborating across different European entities.
- Telecommunications related general domain knowledge
General Requirements:
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Quality Analyst in a data-driven organization.
- Proven experience in data quality management and data governance practices.
- Experience in international or multi-country data projects is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into business-oriented insights.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Self-starter with a continuous learning mindset and strong attention to detail.
Itâs a plus if you have experience with:
- Collibra Data Governance implementation and configuration
- Working within data ingestion and ETL/ELT environments
- Monitoring and alerting tools for data pipelines
- Data privacy regulations such as GDPR

Position Overview :

The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing, validating, and ensuring the quality of data within the ingestion frameworks implemented across Deutsche Telekom Groupâs European operations. This role plays a critical part in supporting the harmonization of data flows, maintaining data governance standards, and delivering actionable insights to support operational and business decisions across multiple national companies (natcos).
The Data Analyst works in close collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Business Stakeholders, ensuring that data quality, governance frameworks (e.g., Collibra), and compliance requirements are consistently applied across the data landscape.
Tasks, Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and validate data delivered through ingestion pipelines to ensure data integrity, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
- Define and maintain data quality rules and metrics, ensuring these are implemented within the data ingestion processes.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to integrate data quality checks and validations into ingestion pipelines.
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of data governance standards, ensuring alignment with Deutsche Telekom Groupâs governance policies.
- Support the management and utilization of the Collibra Data Governance platform, ensuring metadata, data lineage, and data ownership are properly maintained.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor data quality, ingestion performance, and operational KPIs.
- Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues and coordinate remediation activities with relevant teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across national companies to understand data needs and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Support regulatory compliance efforts (e.g., GDPR) by ensuring data usage aligns with privacy and security policies.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination across Deutsche Telekomâs European data community.
