UQ ranks among the world's top 50 universities, delivering knowledge leadership and connecting with partners and communities for a better world.We are seeking a proactive and experienced Data Quality Analyst to join the Advancement and Community (ACE) team, where youāll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of data captured within ACEās current CRM system, Raiserās Edge (RE). You will work closely with stakeholders to align data with strategic and reporting requirements, providing training to end users, supporting business processes, and driving improvements in data accuracy, consistency, validity, and completeness.
A key focus of this role will be supporting data quality throughout the transition to a new CRM system. Youāll monitor and improve data quality during this period, help ensure a smooth and accurate data migration, and assist users with data entry, validation, and clean-up activities.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Ā
Ensure data lifecycle activities comply with UQ/ACE policies and relevant privacy legislation (e.g. Information Privacy Act, SPAM Act, GDPR).
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records through audits, routine processing, and data updates (e.g. contact changes, deceased notifications, duplicate resolution).
Collaborate with the Information Management and Insights team to support data integrity for reporting and operational needs.
Develop, maintain, and improve data management processes to uphold data quality, accuracy, and privacy standards.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for up to 3 years at HEW Level 6.

About YouA degree in Information Systems or a related area with subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant technical experience and or education / training.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, and proven ability to develop and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with a range of clients and internal stakeholders in a complex organisational environment.
Self-motivated, work independently and demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines in a multi-faceted team.
Proven capability working with data to identify patterns, clean and update records, and support accurate data entry and reporting.
Demonstrated experience working with data from different sources and a basic understanding of how data systems connect and share information.
Confident using Microsoft Excel, including functions like formulas, filters, and pivot tables to support data tasks.
Shown proficiency in a structured approach to solve problems, ask questions, and work with the team to find solutions.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia. criminal check.
