What a College Intern – Manufacturing Engineer in Supply Chain does at HP:

• Collaborate with a team of engineers, internal and outsourced manufacturing partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for our Laser Printers.
• Participates in concurrent projects covering current production, sustainability and New Product Introduction.
• Innovates, develops, applies data science techniques to define and improve manufacturing processes through methodical approach, data mining, statistical analysis, and by building high-quality prediction systems.

• Develop skill sets and promotes a mindset of Digitalization, Advance Analytics and Artificial Intelligence solutions within the organization.
• Explores and gains hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence projects.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Able to commit for a full time internship for 5-6 months, starting in January 2026.
• Growth & innovative mindset. 
• Collaborative spirit. 
• Proficiency with tools used to analyze data and develop algorithms and statistical analytics solutions such as Minitab, excel, Python.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
• Experience with or understanding of appropriate engineering design tools and software packages.
• Coding knowledge will be an added advantage.
