Collins Aerospace is seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager, Data Science and Analytics, who will contribute to the development and deployment of analytical solutions in the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), Materials, and Power & Controls Operations for our OSA business. This role emphasizes hands-on analytics development, data management, tool enhancement, and direct collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive process efficiency and accuracy.

What You Will Do

Data Analytics and Reporting:

• Design, build, and deploy analytics models and reporting tools supporting SIOP, Materials, and Operations functions.
• Execute projects focused on improving operational processes through analytics-driven insights.
• Utilize and maintain enterprise analytics platforms including SAP, Tableau, Alteryx.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure analytics solutions meet user requirements and business objectives.
• Facilitate user feedback sessions and manage iterative improvements of analytics tools and dashboards.
• Provide ongoing analytics support to key stakeholders including SIOP teams, Materials Management, and Operations Leads.

Data Management and Digital Transformation:

• Assist with digital transformation initiatives, focusing on data integration, integrity, and availability.
• Maintain and improve SharePoint repositories to streamline reporting and enhance data accessibility.
• Collaborate closely with Data Governance and Master Scheduling teams to ensure consistent data quality and alignment with analytics standards.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in developing and deploying data analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience with analytics tools such as SAP, Tableau, Alteryx, Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, etc.), and Excel.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, Azure Data Cloud preferred).
• Project coordination and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Communication and teamwork capabilities, with experience collaborating across various functional teams.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
