About the roleThis role supports data-driven decision-making across the business by ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and well-understood. You’ll work hands-on with a variety of datasets, exploring, cleaning, and preparing them for analysis. You’ll identify and address data quality issues, and collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver clear, actionable insights. The role also offers opportunities to develop skills in machine learning and AI.
Key responsibilities - Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions- Assist in validating and reconciling data across systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability- Support data cleaning, transformation, and feature creation for downstream analysis and reporting- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual summaries that clearly communicate insights to stakeholders- Collaborate with data engineers and BI teams to troubleshoot data issues and improve data quality pipelines- Work closely with business teams (e.g., marketing) to understand their questions and deliver actionable insights- Document data sources, assumptions, and logic used in analysis to support transparency and reproducibility- Support machine learning projects by preparing clean, reliable data for modelling and contributing to feature engineering and model development under guidance
We are looking for someone with:- 2+ years experience in data science and analytics - A bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field such as data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related discipline- Experience in developing clear, compelling data visualisations using tools including Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based libraries- Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential - A strong foundation in statistical methods and practical experience with both supervised and unsupervised machine learning- Demonstrated hands-on experience in exploratory data analysis (EDA) through commercial or project-based work- Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering for analysis and modelling- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences- An awareness of data privacy principles and a strong commitment to ethical data use- Alignment with our core values: Authenticity, Action, Empathy, Curiosity, and Connection
