Responsibilities

The Knowledge Manager will perform the following duties:

 

Develop and implement knowledge management strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the capture, storage, and dissemination of organizational knowledge.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and develop solutions to address them.

Leverage data science, AI, and ML techniques to enhance knowledge management practices, including data analysis, predictive modeling, and natural language processing.

Develop and maintain machine learning models to automate knowledge extraction, classification, and retrieval processes.

Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of knowledge repositories, databases, and content management systems.

Ensure the accuracy, relevance, and accessibility of knowledge assets for all stakeholders.

Facilitate communication and information exchange between teams, departments, and external partners.

Establish metrics and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives.

Continuously assess and improve knowledge management processes and tools based on feedback and evolving organizational needs.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

Expected Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information management, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternatively, demonstrate an additional 4 years of related acquisition experience per level if no bachelor's degree is held.

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph

Experience in knowledge management and tools such as SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.

Understanding of knowledge management principles and best practices.

 

Desired Qualifications

Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics.

Familiarity with knowledge management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira).

Certification in knowledge management or related areas.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Knowledge of database management and SQL.

Certification in knowledge management or related fields.
