The candidate may also be called on to provide technical, architectural and design guidance to other application development teams within Technology organization.
The candidate should be flexible, highly adaptable and excellent team player. The candidate should expect to work in a global virtual team along with NY, GA, CA team members; The candidate may be assigned to more than one role or project at a time. The candidate may be required to take ownership of critical components of the RTA application, and ensure delivery of the same.
The candidate must have strong technical skills and a good understanding of Mainframe technologies and Distributed technologies. He or she should have at least 7+ years of application development experience, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth Management.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work under supervision. Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science/Engineering,
Years of Experience:
At least 7 year's experience developing in Mainframe/Distributed technologies related to batch and online processing.
Skills required:
The key skills required are:
Good ability to interpret business requirements and create technical design documents and produce appropriate architecture and designs.
7 years of professional experience in Mainframe/Distributed technologies related to batch and online processing.
Good knowledge and demonstrable hands-on experience in DB2/relational databases

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs
