We are looking for a Data Analytics Expert to join our KYC Change Management team in Nordea. The position is permanent and can be based in all countries in Scandinavia, Estonia or Poland.

About our team

Meet the KYC Change Management team, our role is to embark on an exciting new development journey aimed at developing a new strategic KYC solution, the Global KYC Tool. This tool will eventually replace the current KYC application landscape. 

Our team provides the framework for ensuring that we know whom we are doing business with, where their money comes from, and the purpose of the transactions. A robust KYC process is the key element in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF).

What you will be doing

As the Data Analytics Expert for KYC Change Management, you will play a pivotal role in creating tangible value towards Nordea’s mission of detecting and preventing financial crime, by creating conceptual data models, supporting different user cases and analyzing and translating business needs into robust and long-term data solutions.

You will:

• Create guidelines for various integrations towards the sources on consumption of data and drive the requirements towards them for the delivery and support the delivery teams for E2E execution
• Coordinate with consumers for the requirements and translate that to technical teams for the implementation and support the delivery teams for E2E execution
• Create a Data solutions by keeping Nordea and KYC’s vision on Data Strategy and architecture guidelines and present that into various forums for the approval
• Drive the working groups consisting of business and IT stake holders for the requirements as well as implementation of the solutions
• Coordinate with developers and testers for providing walk through of the solutions, discussing various scenarios and supporting them in the implementation
• Create data specifications and support the development-team in the creation of reports to ensure that the output meets the requirements of the solution
• Participate in various forums for representing KYC on various strategic initiatives and align that into KYC roadmap if needed
• Owning and supporting various data products and data domain API’s designs and implementations within KYC
• Elaborating and documenting the KYC Data Strategy

Who you are

Your background and skills include:

• Understanding and knowledge of Data road maps, Data strategy guidelines and data architecture
• Good understanding of Dimensions, transaction and information systems, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies and life cycles ETL and MDM technologies
• Understanding of Data Quality and Data management processes
• Good understanding of ITIL processes

It would be ideal if you also have:

• Experience in making recommendations on data maintenance tactics for slowly changing dimensions, data roll-off / archival planning 
• Basic understanding of GDPR rules related to Data deletion, archival processing of personal data
• Experience using data modeling tools such as Sqldbm (preferable), Erwin, or equivalent 
• An understanding of various database storage such as Hadoop, Cloud etc.
