About the Role
As a Data Analyst, you will contribute to key data analytics projects that support Swiss Re’s ambition of becoming a data-driven organization. You will play a key role in enhancing existing analytics solutions and helping underwriters integrate data into their daily decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
• Data preparation: contribute to ETL processes for our internal Stargate database by cleaning, transforming, and structuring raw data to meet platform standards - ensuring data quality, consistency, and readiness for analysis and integration.
• Pipeline developement: design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines to support ongoing data operations.
• Data preprocessing for modelling: support model-ready data preprocessing and standardization to enable effective statistical and machine learning model developement.
• Performance monitoring: help maintain existing dashboards used to track performance indicators, risk metrics, and portfolio trends - ensuring the team has timely and reliable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated university student with a strong quantitative background to complement our team. The ideal candidate is solution- and results-oriented, a collaborative team player and capable of working independently with a proactive mindset.
Essentials:
• Currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative field like mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, computer science, engineering, etc.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python or similar and comfortable learning and working with new tools and technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1,400 and EUR 2,300 per month (for a full-time role).

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
