Lead Data Scientist - Complex Subsystem Team

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–8 data scientists to deliver ML capabilities within a Databricks-Azure platform.
• Guide delivery of complex ML systems that align with product and platform goals.
• Balance scientific rigor with practical engineering.
• Define model lifecycle, tooling, and architectural direction.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

• Advanced ML: Supervised/unsupervised modeling, time-series, interpretability, MLflow, Spark, TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Engineering: Feature pipelines, model serving, CI/CD, production deployment.
• Leadership: Mentorship, architectural alignment across subsystems, experimentation strategy.
• Communication: Translate ML results into business impact.
