Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a Senior Digital Data Scientist role available in North Bergen, NJ! We are seeking an innovative and digitally focused Senior Data Scientist to accelerate our digital transformation journey in Jersey City, NJ. In this strategic role, you will be at the forefront of leveraging data science and advanced analytics to drive digital product innovation, optimize digital experiences, and inform digital strategy across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with digital product, marketing, and technology teams to unlock the value of our data, enhance digital customer journeys, and fuel our growth as a digital-first organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a data science leader who is passionate about shaping the future of digital business through data-driven insights and solutions.
This position is from Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Salary range: $135,000 - $160,000.

Responsibilities
You will:
- Partner with digital product managers and UX teams to analyze user behavior, identify friction points, and recommend enhancements for web and mobile platforms based on transaction and behavioral data.
- Build, deploy, and monitor machine learning models that personalize digital experiences, optimize recommendations, and improve digital engagement.
- Analyze digital marketing campaigns, A/B test new features, and measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives to maximize ROI.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide real-time insights into digital KPIs, customer journeys, and conversion funnels.
- Synthesize data from multiple digital touchpoints (web, app, Sales Portal, CRM, social, e-commerce) to deliver holistic, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business leaders to define and track digital success metrics, supporting strategic decision-making and digital roadmaps.
- Work with data engineering and IT teams to ensure digital data is captured, structured, and accessible for analysis.
- Champion data governance and privacy best practices across digital channels, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Evaluate and implement new digital analytics tools and platforms to enhance our capabilities.
Qualifications
You have:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, & R, and experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.).
- Extensive hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM): Proven ability to design, implement, and manage complex tagging strategies across multiple digital properties. Skilled in configuring custom tags, triggers, and variables to capture advanced user interactions and digital events. Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing GTM setups to ensure accurate data collection for analytics and marketing platforms.
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, with a strong focus on digital products, digital marketing, or digital transformation.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning for digital applications (personalization, recommendation engines, customer segmentation).
- Strong data visualization skills (Power BI, or similar), with the ability to communicate digital insights to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data frameworks (Spark, Databricks).
- Deep understanding of digital customer journeys, UX analytics, and digital business models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or digital product environments.
- Background in digital experimentation, CRO (conversion rate optimization), or growth analytics.
- Experience using Customer Lifetime Value models to identify growth drivers
