Main purpose of the Data Intelligence Analyst role:

The Data Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in actively building, upgrading, and maintaining the data-centric nucleus of the Buying and Merchandising arm of REVOLVE headquarters. 

 

The Data Intelligence Analyst’s primary objective is to support the Buying and Planning arm of the company in order to ensure that shrewd inventory purchasing, and manufacturing decisions are consistently being made day-in and day-out to keep fueling our aggressive top-line growth trajectory while continuing to push the limits of our bottom-line profitability. 

 

 Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work alongside business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions and processes for new organizational initiatives.
  • Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures; align architecture with business requirements.
  • Data Acquisition, Develop data set processes.
  • Deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods. Prepare data for predictive and forecast modeling.
  • Conduct complex analysis, develop new business metrics (test and implement), and build models to uncover key learnings form data, leading to appropriate strategy recommendations.
  • Deliver ad-hoc/updates to key stakeholders based on analytics & data
  • Define and implement high level reports/KPI’s

 

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Outstanding analytical skills, with deep knowledge and understanding of numerical and statistical methods.
  • High comfort level with SQL and python programming, ability to learn and adopt new technology with short turn-around time.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to propose multiple solutions, properly weigh tradeoffs and ROI, identify the best path forward, and exercise good judgment to drive ahead.
  • Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, & results oriented

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of quantitative analytical experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree required
  • SQL experience, query optimization, Data extract
  • General understanding of python or other programming languages.
  • Ability to build, validate, and productionize models.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of quantitative analytical experience
  • Statistical background preferred 
  • Advanced SQL, Python, & Excel/VBA
  • Experience with Clickhouse & Catboost a plus
  • Experience with e-commerce and product analytics a plus

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $100,000- $120,000 per year.
