As a Senior Big Data/AI Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using React.js, Node.js, and MySQL, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud, API, and DevOps best practices for enterprise-grade deployments.

 

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain robust, responsive front-end applications using React.js, ensuring modern UI/UX standards.

• Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases and backend integrations, including stored procedures and data modeling.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, solve complex technical problems, and deliver scalable solutions.

• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Azure App Services, databases, and DevOps pipelines.

• Architect and build secure, efficient RESTful APIs with Node.js to enable seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.

• Apply best practices in version control with Git, participating in code reviews and collaborative development processes.

• Implement and maintain rigorous testing and quality assurance for both frontend (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and backend components.

• Ensure application security by following authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices throughout the development lifecycle

What You’ll Bring

• Preferred Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, Math or Scientific Computing.

• 3-5 years of related experience.

• Proficient in Frontend Development: Strong expertise in React.js, including component-based architecture, hooks, state management (e.g., Redux or Context API), and responsive UI design.

• Backend & Database Management: Experience with MySQL database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling. Familiarity with backend technologies that integrate with MySQL (e.g., Node.js, Express).

• Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure SQL/MySQL databases, and Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.

• Full Stack Development: Ability to design, develop, and maintain full stack applications, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components.

• Security Best Practices: Knowledge of web application security principles, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.

Our Senior Data/AI Engineering, earns between $130,700-$196,100 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
