We are looking for a Lead Data Analyst to head our Competitive Intelligence team within the Pricing Domain. You’ll lead a team of four Data Analysts and work closely with stakeholders from both business and tech to deliver high-impact insights into competitor behavior and B2B pricing strategies.
This is a hybrid role combining people management and hands-on analytics. You will guide your team while also diving into data yourself when needed. Your insights will directly influence our pricing strategy across markets.
Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4 Data Analysts. Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and support career growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Manager and business stakeholders to define effective workflows, ensuring analytics outputs align with product and business strategy.
Code Quality & Review: Maintain high technical standards within the team by reviewing code (SQL, Python), promoting best practices, and ensuring consistency and reusability.
Competitive & Pricing Intelligence: Guide the analysis of competitor behavior and B2B pricing trends, ensuring insights feed into pricing logic and strategic decisions.
Strategic & Operational Ownership: Own the roadmap and execution of competitor and B2B pricing analytics, driving timely, high-quality deliverables while continuously identifying opportunities to improve tools, processes, and business impact.
Data Advocacy: Represent the Competitive Intelligence area internally, drive knowledge-sharing, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Hands-On Contribution: Actively contribute to analytical work, writing SQL, developing Power BI dashboards, and using Python for data processing or prototyping when needed.
Experience: Over 5 years in data analytics and more than 2 years of previous experience as a team or technical lead.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
Working knowledge of Python for data processing or prototyping.
Familiarity with Airflow, ETL, and data modeling.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of e-commerce and pricing mechanics.
Communication: Clear, structured communicator able to simplify complexity for non-technical audiences.
Problem Solving: Proactive mindset, able to identify gaps, generate ideas, and turn data into business value.
