ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an AI Solution Engineer who is passionate about the latest AI use cases, technologies, and how AI can deliver real business value. You will be working within the AI Experimentation Team within the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).

We are building an AI Platform allowing users within LSEG to test new AI technologies, experiment with ideas and ultimately enhance the speed and quality with which teams get AI products into production use generating business value.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Engage directly with users to understand their goals and the challenges they face, delving into what they want to achieve and how they’re approaching it.

• Collaborate with technical teams to translate user requirements into actionable features and tasks.

• Support the design and development process to ensure features are implemented correctly, limiting technical debt.

• Work with users and technical teams to prioritise features, balancing business value, time, and budget.

• Oversee platform monitoring to ensure a seamless user experience, tracking metrics such as inference speed, latency, and error rates.

• Proactively monitor the entire user journey, ensuring onboarding is straightforward, platform features are easy to access, and support is always available. Identify areas for improvement and relay feedback to the technical team.

• Create clear user guides and demos for users and broader audiences, showcasing how the AI platform works and the possibilities it unlocks.

• Stay ahead of the curve by tracking the latest developments in AI, discerning practical advances from hype, and sharing valuable insights with the team.

• Test and validate technical solutions by running code, identifying issues, and proposing improvements.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Customer facing engineer, genuinely interested in AI, but can pivot to other technologies as they emerge.

• Comfortable working across both technical and non-technical teams

• Curious, a fast learner, and eager to make an impact

Technical skills required:

• Azure AI Foundry, Cognitive Accounts

• Databricks GenAI platform

• Understand model fine tuning, retrieval augmented generation, agents and agentic workflows

• Semantic Kernal SDK

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $110,600 - $184,400.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
