Job Description

The Research Assistant assists the Principal Investigator in the analysis and processing of neuroimaging signals and contributing to research studies and publications. This is a part-time, term position which may be worked from a remote location.

NOTE: A Term position is a staff position that exists for a period longer than six months but is not expected to last beyond one year. Although a position may exist for a specified or indefinite period, staff who accept term positions are not guaranteed employment for the entire period; they are employed for indefinite periods within the limit of the appointment. There are no guarantees of continued employment, either within the term or when the term ends.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis of neuroimaging data to support new and ongoing research projects
  • Assist with data curation, processing, and quality assurance
  • Assist with manuscript writing and presentation
  • Assist with literature review
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School Degree; bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Responsiveness and clear, prompt communication is required.
  • Organizational skills and careful attention to detail are required.
  • Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB or Python is preferred.
  • Experience working with neuroimaging data is preferred.
