Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of USGAAP (LDTI) across one or more Asia markets. 
  • Prepare and review valuation reports in accordance with USGAAP (LDTI) standards.
  • Deliver experience studies and conduct impact analyses of changes in key assumptions.
  • Maintain Prophet models, incorporating new products and analyzing/reconciling cash flows with excel models.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the implementation of internal control procedures to ensure precise financial reporting.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for each process and audit requirement, including data, models, assumptions, and analyses, to support the delivery of high-quality financial results and insights.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Statistics.
  • 4-6 exams from recognized actuarial institute and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of USGAAP (LDTI), Pricing and Experience studies.
  • Proficiency in Prophet, or similar Actuarial software is highly desirable.
  • Experience with IFRS17 implementation or reporting is a big plus.
  • Strong data analytics skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience with R or Python is must.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other office applications.
