What you’ll do:- Analyze statistical correlations across sports player performance, game outcomes, and new fantasy formats.
- Support pricing and risk analysis for new and existing game types across major sports and esports (e.g., NBA, NFL, CS2).
- Build and maintain Python-based tools and models to inform fair pricing and payout structures.
- Design and execute statistical experiments around hold targets, payout boosts, and win-rate dynamics.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, GameOps) to validate assumptions and optimize pricing mechanisms.
- Contribute to frameworks for pricing accuracy, market health monitoring, and edge detection
- Communicate findings with clear visuals, summaries, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 2–5 years of experience in data science, sports analytics, or a related quantitative role.
- Strong statistical foundation (e.g., probability theory, regression, distributions, hypothesis testing).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience working with large datasets and model-driven analysis.
- Understanding of how sports betting, fantasy, or trading markets work — ideally with exposure to pricing or risk.
- Curious, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for uncovering insights in noisy, high-dimensional sports data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, experimentation-driven environment.
- Bonus: Experience with simulations, copulas, or time-series models.

The typical salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000. At PrizePicks, we consider your role, level, and where you'll be working when determining our salary ranges.
