Overview

Job Title: eCom Product Manager SpecialistEmployer: PEPSICO, INC.Location: 7701 Legacy Drive, Plano, Texas 75024

Responsibilities

Duties: Extract, analyze, and interpret data from PostgreSQL, Dbeaver, SQL, and Excel to provide actionable insights and recommendations for the data operations team. Conduct descriptive and statistical analysis, utilizing techniques like correlation and regression modeling to forecast sales and customer acquisition metrics. Integrate data from multiple sources to create comprehensive analytical reports across various lines of business. Perform SQL code reviews and modifications to support new development requirements, including peer and quality control reviews. Design and manage database objects, including tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions, to enable CRUD operations and data retrieval. Optimize query execution plans and perform performance tuning, identifying missing indexes and addressing issues like excessive CPU usage and slow I/O. Facilitate report migration from MS Excel to Tableau 2021.3, ensuring accuracy and functionality. Develop and automate data extraction processes using Postman and create interactive business intelligence dashboards for the operations team.

 

*Telecommuting permitted 30%: Work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the PepsiCo, Inc. office in Plano, TX.

*20% domestic travel required.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Science and seven (7) years of experience in offered or related roles OR Master's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in offered or related roles. Must have seven (7) years of experience (or 5 with Master’s) in computer science, data engineering, or information technology. Must have five (5) years of experience with: writing complex SQL queries, managing databases, and optimizing query performance to support data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis; using advanced Excel functions, VBA, and macros to automate data tasks, create reports, and provide insights; creating interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau to present analytical insights effectively to stakeholder; using PostgreSQL for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation, with a focus on database performance optimization; designing and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless data integration from multiple sources; using Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation, leveraging libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib; conducting descriptive and statistical analyses, with expertise in visualizing complex data to derive insights and support business decisions; data warehousing technologies such as Teradata and Snowflake; Managing data in ERP and SAP; Defining requirements and developing applications, reports, analytics tools, and back-end data processing jobs; Administering enterprise systems such as ERP, including setting up users, debugging data issues, implementing workflow and other new features, setting up alerts, and exception reporting; help desk/ticketing software such as JIRA or Zendesk and Agile development processes and tools such as Jira or Pivotal Tracker.

 

Salary: $140,109 - $165,000/ year
