Your Job
Support the design and implementation of AWS infrastructure (EKS/ECS, S3, Lambda), helping create secure, scalable environments for data-science workloads.
Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines by contributing to Airflow workflows and learning to create reliable ETL processes.
Learn and contribute to model deployment processes using GitHub Actions and MLflow, gaining hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines in a machine learning context.
Monitor system health and performance by setting up basic dashboards and alerts using CloudWatch, while learning advanced observability tools like Prometheus/Grafana.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand requirements and assist in productionizing models from development to staging environments.
Document processes and learnings while developing best practices knowledge in Infrastructure-as-Code and MLOps.
Your Skills
1-2 years of AWS experience with basic knowledge of core services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and foundational understanding of VPC and IAM concepts.
Basic Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or willingness to learn, including understanding of version control integration.
Foundational data engineering concepts including familiarity with data formats (JSON, CSV, Parquet) and basic SQL skills; exposure to data warehousing concepts is a plus.
Container fundamentals with Docker and basic understanding of orchestration concepts; willingness to learn Kubernetes/EKS or ECS.
Strong scripting foundation in Python and basic Bash skills, with solid Git/GitHub workflow knowledge and eagerness to learn CI/CD automation.Interest in observability and monitoring with basic CloudWatch experience; curiosity about MLOps concepts like model versioning and deployment strategies, with strong desire to grow in this area.
