What awaits you

You will be part of a team that develops advanced analytics and (generative) artificial intelligence applications. As part of this, you design, implement, and optimize the cloud infrastructure for our GenAI-based applications
For the industrialization of your applications, you leverage the potential of our IT hubs and external partners
You align closely with / contribute to our AI platform team to ensure maximum reusability of our platform solutions
You develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ensuring automated testing and deployment
You build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
You collaborate closely with our Backend and AI teams to ensure seamless integration and high availability of our AI services
You ensure observability, logging, and monitoring through CloudWatch, and X-Ray
You drive security best practices, ensuring compliance with security policies
With your expertise and passion for advanced analytics and artificial intelligence you also support experts in other IT and business departments to implement analytics/AI solutions – for example based on our NoCode AI platform
You perform operations on the current environments and infrastructure
You upgrade different instances to newer versions, install certificates, open ports, configure systems and applications, handle firewall restrictions, install / deploy applications, fix security vulnerabilities
You need to incorporate FinOps principles and investigate for cost/performance optimizations that you can propose to the stakeholders and be able to manage and upgrade multiple versions of infrastructures
Standardize infrastructure setup and create reusable workflows

What should you bring along

University Degree in Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Development in an Enterprise environment
Experience with AWS services, including Quicksight, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and networking (VPC, ALB), SecretManager, KMS
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise with Terraform/Terragrunt and Containerization
CI/CD automation experience with GitHub Actions, Makefiles, Bash
Strong desire to automate everything
Hands-on knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven AWS patterns
Experience with monitoring, observability and logging (CloudWatch, X-Ray)
Familiarity with AWS Security best practices (IAM, Secrets Manager, Key Management Service)
Nice to have experience with authentication standards and protocols: Oauth and OIDC (OpenID Connect)
Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) in an enterprise context
Experience with problem, incident and change management
Experience with Python Software Development is a plus
Excellent English verbal and written skills
German communication skills are a plus
