Data Engineer (Mid/Senior)

We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join our growing team at Eviden. In this role, you will transform raw data into actionable insights by designing and optimizing scalable, production-grade data pipelines. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals across disciplines to solve complex data challenges using modern open-source technologies and cloud platforms. Our Tech Stack: languages & tools(Python, SQL, Pandas, PySpark, Databricks), cloud platforms: (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)), data sources: (Web analytics, call center logs, IoT data, segmentation models, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines
• Solve complex data challenges using Python and SQL
• Work with large datasets from diverse industries (e.g., banking, manufacturing, pharma, e-commerce)
• Collaborate in small, agile teams (2–5 people) alongside data scientists, analysts, and product managers
• Contribute to the development of AI-powered, cloud-based solutions

Job requirements

• Educational background in a relevant field
• Solid experience with Python and SQL, Databricks
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a strong advantage
• Interest in building robust data pipelines and working with large-scale datasets
• A collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow in a team of skilled professionals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in English
