Client Strategist – Financial Engineer

Our FID Client Strategist Team builds models, metrics and their visualizations to analyse client flow across desks. We provide our users insights of client behaviours and target future trades, also monitor real time risks.

We are looking for Financial Engineers who use their combined technical and quantitative skills and business expertise to provide data-oriented solutions to our global Fixed Income Business. They would

• oversee the complete lifecycle of technical development: analysis, design, implementation and testing
• architect systems and data flows, build out data pipelines and implement complex analytics while ensuring the highest standard of data integrity
• manage the process of implementing back-end calculations and front-end visualization features in our cutting-edge data visualization and reporting frameworks
• partner with COOs, Strategists and Controllers across the Division in analysing their workflows and building tools that increase their productivity

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant professional experience
• Programming experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, C++, Java, JavaScript.
• Analytical thinking, problem solving and statistical skills

• Ability to work effectively with colleagues widely dispersed geographically.
• Sensitivity to details, accuracy in everyday work
• Ability to work independently

You might also have, but are not expected to have:

• 2 years HTML5/JS UI development skills, including ReactJS
• Experience with q/KDB
• Experience with working in a small development team
• Development background, implementation experience with new technologies (Big Data, Cloud, ML)
• Experience with Python
