Global Pricing Analyst

Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Global Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team within the Fluid Conveyance Division. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability across global markets. You will leverage advanced analytics, AI-powered tools, and data visualization techniques to optimize pricing decisions and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.  We are looking for someone on-site based out of our Plymouth, MN or Maumee, OH locations. 

The salary range is $80,000 - $100,000 DOE.  

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

• Quotes and Pricing:
• Manage list price setting and annual price adjustment preparation and analysis
• Provide recommendation for price positioning
• Monitor account pricing/margin health

• Pricing Strategy Development:
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and trends
• Develop and implement global pricing strategies aligned with business unit objectives and market conditions
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with overall business goals
• Data Analysis and Modeling:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to pricing, sales, costs, and market dynamics
• Develop and maintain pricing models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to optimize pricing decisions
• Utilize AI-powered tools to identify pricing patterns, predict demand, and optimize pricing strategies in real-time
• Dashboard Creation and Reporting:
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize pricing performance, identify trends, and communicate insights to stakeholders
• Utilize data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) to create compelling and informative presentations
• Monitor key pricing metrics and provide regular updates to management on pricing performance and market trends
• Pricing Optimization and Execution:
• Identify and implement pricing improvements to maximize revenue and profitability
• Work closely with sales teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively implemented and communicated to customers

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel)
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and EI-powered pricing tools
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Phython, R, Excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
