About the Job:

The Data Analyst plays a crucial role in enabling the business to achieve Commercial Excellence by transforming data into actionable insights and providing commercial intelligence to support effective decision-making. Leveraging customer and business data along with best-in-class analytics tools, this role will help design, implement, and maintain reporting and information solutions for our global community.

Additionally, the Data Analyst will support finance and sales reporting and analysis to drive business performance. As a member of the Commercial Excellence team, the Data Analyst will also provide expertise to assist the Sales Operations Manager, CRM support, and Commercial Lead when needed.

Key Accountabilities

  • Transform data into actionable insights to enhance business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize information delivery, data capture, and business processes by providing technical solutions that automate manual tasks and increase efficiency.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with partners to develop and automate business reporting and dashboards that facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Track Sales and Account Management performance: Equip stakeholders with tools to monitor sales performance at various hierarchy levels.
  • Provide business performance insights that align with Iron Mountain's strategic priorities.
  • Ensure every Business Intelligence solution incorporates data quality, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Empower the Sales Organization with insights to better understand customers, identify buying patterns, and uncover whitespace opportunities.
  • Contribute to and support special projects and programs as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for CRM support and encourage cross-skilling within the team.
  • Engage in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Support, maintain, and enhance the functionality of existing reports and dashboards for optimal performance.
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols and development standards.
  • Create technical documentation for the company, like user guides, release notes and design documents.
  • Continuously monitor integration performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for faster, more efficient data synchronization.
  • Optimize data flows and integration processes to support business scalability and growth.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.
  • Document integration solutions, workflows, and technical procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and ease of troubleshooting.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of existing Salesforce integrations, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance.

Skills:

  • Strong data analysis and reporting skillset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to engage internal stakeholders across  multiple functions
  • Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Knowledge of report design/data visualisation best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to use evidence to prepare advice.
  • Strong planning and organisational skill including ability to move quickly, meet deadlines and deliver work to a high standard with attention to detail.
  • Excellent Excel skills and working with data
  • Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields.
  • Experience working in Einstein Analystics
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Understanding of data security principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex integration issues.

Mobility Requirements

  • Primary place of work is work from home.
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Flexibility for travelling to the Iron Mountain office when required.
