Job Summary:

This position is a key Retail Operations role providing technical expertise to enhance data and analytics tools for the Retail Division. This role serves as a specialist of data workflows to ensure our teams have the correct tools and resources, providing outstanding business intelligence support to the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that system design and technologies are being utilized and leveraged optimally and is responsible for articulating business requirements to technical teams both within, and external, to LZB.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

  • Maintain knowledge of Retail workflows, tools, systems, and data pathways
  • Act as a point of contact for solving technical issues and drive swiftly to a resolution with minimal service/system interruptions
  • Analyze identified critical metrics and maintain Retail data dashboards to support business initiatives
  • Raise status, blockers, and risks to the Retail Leadership Team via data analysis
  • Support the development of mitigation strategies with the Retail leadership team as needed
  • Partner with third party vendors to work through challenges within each tool and data pathway, optimize our use of software, and maintain a positive working relationship
  • Coordinate and collaborate across both internal and external partners to develop technical solutions and properly integrate systems for a seamless technical ecosystem
  • Work closely with IT and other cross-functional teams to support data mapping needs and continuous process improvement with a concentration on Retail acquisitions and system conversions
  • Support Retail pricing strategy through data analysis

SCOPE & IMPACT:

Represents Retail Operations on strategic teams and provides consulting on the future direction of company initiatives utilizing data and analytics to provide insights for the ~800M+ Retail Division. This role is a liaison between the business and Retail, supporting initiatives that impact business effectiveness and productivity across the organization, which may include support functions such as HR, Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, Strategy, Information Technology, Regional Distribution Centers, Commercial, and Casegoods, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Information, Business, or related field with 2- 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent
  • 3+ years of project/product management experience
  • Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, and computing languages
  • Analytically driven, with high degree of comfort evaluating and actioning on data
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail
  • Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proactively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement and learning

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. While this role does not directly supervise other team members, they are responsible for providing solutions to ensure cross-functional teams are well supported.

Base Compensation Range: $63,700 - $96,250
