Data Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in building reliable, scalable data pipelines and enabling cross-functional collaboration to support advanced analytics and real-time data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using modern data engineering tools and practices.
• Implement real-time and batch data processing solutions using Kafka and Databricks.
• Develop serverless data workflows and automation using Azure Functions.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including developers, testers, architects, and business partners to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver results.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, observability, security, and governance across all systems.
• Support data architecture decisions and contribute to the evolution of our cloud data platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python and advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Proven experience with Apache Kafka in data streaming or messaging-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and building pipelines using Spark.
• Proficient in building and managing Azure Functions and working within the Azure ecosystem.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills – ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
