Our medical insurance provides coverage for dependents including parents or in-laws.    Mental Wellbeing - We offer mental health support through self-help tools, community groups, ally networks, face-to-face counselling, and more for both colleagues and dependents.     Financial Wellbeing - Through our financial literacy partner, we offer one-to-one financial coaching at discounted rates, as well as salary advances on earned wages upon request.     Save As You Earn (SAYE) - Our SAYE programme allows colleagues to transition from being employees to Tesco shareholders through a structured 3-year savings plan.     Physical Wellbeing - Our green campus promotes physical wellbeing with facilities that include a cricket pitch, football field, badminton and volleyball courts, along with indoor games, encouraging a healthier lifestyle.  You will be responsible for Jointly own and maintain the Finance Data Governance (FDG) framework, processes and controls in collaboration with the UK FDG team.  • Chair governance meetings and focus reporting on key areas of risk and exceptions.• Promote a data-driven culture by promotion data stewardship and enhancing data literacy across Finance.• Support Head of FDG in delivering strategic projects and make and making informed decisions regarding data-related changes within systems, processes and financial controls, including conducting readiness assessments, providing recommendations and supporting the implementation of various organisational models, tools and regulatory requirements.• Proactively and regularly communicate with key internal and external stakeholders, particularly those within and linked to TBS, to inform, escalate and seek decisions.  Provide accurate and timely information that embeds data standards and supports remediation efforts to deliver high-quality, trusted data for decision-making.• Lead the alignment of data management practices across all of Finance, including standardised data definitions and quality benchmarks, sharing best practices and fostering a community of practice.• Continuously look for opportunities to enhance compliance and operational efficiency, applying a holistic view across the P&L, balance sheet, finance verticals, business units, and operational processes.• Further enhance existing data management & governance controls and take a leading role in moving from tactical to strategic solutions.• As the team expands, develop and lead a high performing team by setting clear direction, providing coaching, promoting a CI culture, and being accountable for team objectives, stakeholder engagements and issue resolution.• Follow our code of business conduct, and always act with integrity and due diligence. You will need • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.• Strong understanding of data lineage concepts, associated practices, and challenges faced by organisations in managing their data effectively• In-depth knowledge of the control environment and the importance of data quality compliance • Solid understanding of enterprise systems and business processes• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on driving efficiencies and enhancing outcomes About us Tesco in Bengaluru is a multi-disciplinary team serving our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day across markets.
